Active research projects

Published: 02 2011

The importance of innovative and relevant research cannot be overstated, as it plays a critical role in contributing to the government's goal of achieving an affordable, integrated, safe, responsive and sustainable land transport system in New Zealand. In order to address this, the NZTA is currently taking a fresh look at how it manages its Research Programme as outlined in the update below. When the review is complete - the Research Programme web pages will be updated to reflect the way forward with the Research Programme.

The projects below are currently active.

They are arranged according to their seven key research areas, namely:

For information on any of these projects, please contact the research organisation directly or email research@nzta.govt.nz.

TBA - To Be Advised - researcher details will be updated when the research project has been commissioned.

This page is updated on an ongoing basis as research is completed. See research reports to view the reports of completed projects.
